雪予報の琵琶湖へ、守山から湖岸を北上する。

雪の日琵琶湖撮影の第二のポイント、近江八幡・牧水泳場です。
守山の第一なぎさ公園から始まって、ここへきた時は吹雪でした。
しかし、琵琶湖の冬の天気は目まぐるしく変わるもので、吹雪の場面から雪が弱くなったと思ったら、晴れたような青い空がのぞいたり、また吹雪いたり…を繰り返します。
湖岸から見える半島（長命寺）が、わりと近くてスケール感が素晴らしく、雪をか被ることで一層存在感を出していました。

Head north along the lakeshore from Moriyama to Lake Biwa, where snow is forecast.

The second point for photographing Lake Biwa on a snowy day is Omihachiman Maki Swimming Pool.
It started at Daiichi Nagisa Park in Moriyama, and when we arrived here it was a blizzard.
However, the winter weather at Lake Biwa changes rapidly, and just when you think the snow is getting weaker from a blizzard, a clear blue sky appears, and then another blizzard…all over again.
The peninsula (Chomeiji Temple) that can be seen from the lake shore is relatively close and has a great sense of scale, and the fact that it is covered with snow makes it even more impressive.
